Anurag Singh is Professor at the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, with 27 years of extensive research and teaching experience to his role. His research expertise includes customer engagement, customer experience, social currency, digital marketing and women entrepreneurship. As the Project Director, Dr. Singh is directing a major research project "Impact of ‘Make in India’ Initiatives on the Performance of Micro and Small Textile Garments and Clothing Accessories Entrepreneurs" (2024-2026) funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi with a grant of Rs. 1.5 million. Dr. Singh has a study funded by Institution of Eminence-Banaras Hindu University, as the Principal Investigator on "Impact of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem on the Performance of Women Entrepreneurs" (2021-24) with a grant of Rs 1.0 million. Additionally, as the Co-Principal Investigator, Dr. Singh has contributed to the project "Academic Linkage for Artefact Manufacturing, Cluster Development & Excellency" (2021-24) with a grant of Rs 0.6 million, funded by Institution of Eminence-Banaras Hindu University. In the past, Dr. Singh successfully completed a project as the Principal Investigator on the "Acceptance of Unique Identity Project in India: An Exploration of Business Prospects" (2012-13) with a grant of Rs. 0.065 million, funded by Banaras Hindu University. Dr. Singh has an impressive scholarly record with 79 research papers published in renowned journals, 15 chapters in edited books, and 4 chapters in conference proceedings. Additionally, he has contributed to eight edited books published by reputable publishers such as Apple Academic Press and IGI Global and served as guest editor of “Frontiers in Psychology” for section Organizational Psychology on the Research Topic: “Resilient Strategies of Companies Post-COVID 19 Pandemic” (Scopus, SSCI, Q2, WoS-IF: 4.232).
